SJ's Secrets
International Sports Hero...For over 15 years since quitting hockey, I have actively participated in bandy (picture a soccer game, on iceskates, 11 on 11, with a stick like a field hockey stick and a ball the size of a tennis ball). Good fun, great excercise, great experience These pictures are from the 1997 World Champs in Sweden. Almost lost my toes in 1999 in Arkhangelsk, Russia when we played and it was -30 outside....OUCH!
Coaching, Coaching, and more Coaching....Teaching kids about life, sports and Sportsmanship has been a great experience. I hope I have made an impact on their lives.
Hiking and the outdoors....I love being out with nature. Whether fishing on the dock or hiking the Scottish Highlands, getting outdoors keeps me young.
